The old joke goes that Canada has two seasons, winter and road construction. If that’s the case, Bonnyville residents have had a difficult construction season with 51st Avenue.
The project was originally supposed to be finished by the end of this month, but it has fallen severely behind schedule.
Mayor Gene Sobolewski has expressed some frustrations with the process. Council had hoped for a quick and tidy process and has wound with the opposite.
