Cleanfarms offers a safe way to get rid of products

Farmers in the Lakeland will have an opportunity to get rid of potentially dangerous chemicals safely. Cleanfarms is gearing up for their 2019 collection season across the province.

Producers looking to get rid of unused or unwanted pesticides as well as livestock medication can safely dispose of the products in St. Paul on October 8th at the UFA. Another round-up day is scheduled in Smoky Lake the same day at Nutrien Ag Solutions.

Both days run from 9 to 4 PM and dropping off products is free.

The Cleanfarms program is funded by the crop protection industry and the Canadian Animal Health Institute.
