Work continuing on Bonnyville swimming pool

Swimmers in Bonnyville will have to make do without their swimming pool for another few days. The pool on 48th street is currently in the middle of its annual shutdown.

The town says this year’s shutdown featured some work on the pool as well as a deep cleaning. An assessment is also being done by Alberta Health Services on the pool drain anti-entrapment equipment.

The town expects the pool to be back up and ready for swimmers on September 16th. Any news of an extension on the closure will be posted on the official website.
