Mounties investigating after pair of vehicle fires

Police in Bonnyville are investigating a pair of arson-related vehicle fires. Mounties say the first one was on August 31st. In the early morning hours, an officer found a semi-truck fully engulfed near 37th Street.

On September 1st police once again found another vehicle on fire. This time it was a newer Dodge pickup near the Kehewin Pow Wow grounds. The truck was later determined to be stolen.

The RCMP are asking anyone who may have seen something suspicious in relation to the two fires to come forward. Tips can be submitted to the Bonnyville RCMP detachment at 780-343-7200.
