Mounties in Bonnyville say a man working as a massage therapist in town is facing charges of sexual assault. Police say their investigation into the man began back in March after a victim came forward saying she had been touched in a sexual manner during a visit to the business.
During the investigation, mounties say another victim came forward saying she was also touched inappropriately during a session.
49-year-old Jason Traxler now faces charges of two counts of sexual assault. He has since been released and is due in Bonnyville Provincial Court on September 3rd. The Massage Therapist Association of Alberta has suspended his membership as a result of these allegations.
