Mounties arrest two after search of house

St. Paul mounties say a pair of arrests have been made in relation to stolen vehicles over two counties. On August 19th the RCMP says members were patrolling in St. Paul County and Two Hills County when they came across a man wanted on charges from the Edmonton Police Service.

Mounties say the man tried to hide in a home. Police were able to get a search warrant and say they found the man hiding in a crawl space. Another man was found in the home and mounties discovered he was also wanted on outstanding charges in Fort Saskatchewan.

34-year-old Danny McGilvery and 34-year-old Ryan Quinney, both of Saddle Lake, both face new charges on top of previous warrants.

McGilvery will stay with police and see St. Paul Provincial Court on August 29th. Quinney has been released after a hearing and is due in Fort Saskatchewan Provincial Court on August 22nd.
