Students will get to “Meet the Bus” as back to school draws near

New students and their parents will have a chance to try out the ride to school this year. Northern Lights Public Schools says the “Meet the Bus” program is back.

The program lets younger students who haven’t ridden the bus to school before get a taste of the routine with their parents. Guests will get some instruction on bus safety, take a little ride around and collect some fun items to take home.

“Meet the Bus” starts on August 26th at North Star Elementary in Cold Lake. Other schools participating include Duclos School in Bonnyville and Vera M. Walsh School in Lac La Biche.

More information on the program is at the NLPS website.
