A Lakeland gas station is in the running for a coveted commode-related honour. The Beaver Hill Shell Station located in Lac La Biche has been named a top-five finalist for the Cintas “Canada’s Best Restroom” contest.
The gas station features such fancy touches as floor-to-ceiling tiles, granite sinks and chandeliers. It is currently in the running against some lavish lavatories in Vancouver, Toronto and Quebec City. The Beaver Hill Shell is the only Alberta stop to make the top five.
Voting is now open on the Cintas website to pick who the winner will be across the country. The winner will receive a plaque commemorating their water closet as well as a media event.
