Mounties in Bonnyville say a man now faces drunk driving charges while driving a company vehicle. Police were called out to a section of Highway 55 on July 30th after reports of an oilfield company truck swerving around the road.
The RCMP arrived and say they found the truck sitting on the side of the highway after it had driven out of a ditch. The 25-year-old driver from St. Paul was taken into custody.
Mounties say a blood test later showed he was over three times over the legal alcohol limit.
