LCSD launches new program with Bonnyville Pontiacs

The Lakeland Catholic School District has teamed up with the Bonnyville Pontiacs to launch an exclusive new hockey program focusing on skill development and athletic leadership excellence.

Available exclusively to students at École Notre Dame High School, the program will combine the athletic training found at the Junior A hockey level while attempting to provide the students with the skills needed to thrive at a post-secondary level.

The program also strives to keep student-athletes at home while attending high school.

“I would like to take the opportunity to welcome every student-athlete to an exciting year with the LCSD Hockey Program at ÉNDHS. The Bonnyville Pontiacs are pleased to partner with the LCSD to provide a goal-based curriculum focusing on individual skill development, team tactics, and leadership,” says Pontiacs Head Coach and GM Rick Swan.

The program is available to both male and female students, with a hard cap of 30 students.
