The MD of Bonnyville is feeling out where a potential new park could go, and it may end up in Bonnyville. MD council heard from consulting company RC Strategies last Wednesday during their council meeting on a report that called for a $24 million park to be built.
Council had previously had preliminary discussions with the Town of Bonnyville on putting the new park on town-owned land. Open houses were also hosted to gauge what the area wants for in a new rec site.
The MD says now they’ll be looking to pinpoint where the project will go. They’re also looking at all options when it comes to raising cash for the park.
