Mounties remain on scene in Cold Lake Monday morning as they deal with what is being called a “firearms complaint”. Police aren’t saying much, but are saying they are near Sparrow Close on the north end of the city. Mounties are saying some nearby homes have been evacuated for safety reasons as they investigate.
Mounties are asking the public to avoid the area while they are on scene as well as avoid posting on social media about police activity.
