LLB County hosting another meeting on Environmental Reserve bylaw

Lac La Biche County is looking for public feedback as it tries to set a law concerning environmental protection. The county is in the middle of drafting up a bylaw concerning potential changes of lakefront riparian areas, which currently fall under the protection of the county.

The county had previously held meetings with lakefront landowners back on June 20th. Another open house is scheduled for Saturday at the Bold Centre. From 1 PM to 4 PM the public can stop by and give their two cents on the proposed bylaw as well as learn a little bit more about the situation.

A copy of the proposed legislation and more on the subject is available at the county website.
