Mounties in Cold Lake are asking the public to be on the lookout for some stolen fishing gear and the person who swiped it. Police are saying early on the morning of June 6th a man rode into the Holiday Inn parking lot on a mountain bike and proceeded to steal about $5000 worth of fishing gear from a boat.
10 fishing rods, tackle, life jackets and other miscellaneous items were taken. Mounties say video surveillance showed the man wearing a black sweatshirt with the hood up and dark pants.
