Vezeau Beach boat launch open

The temporary boat launch and at Vezeau Beach is open in time for the Canada Day long weekend. The MD of Bonnyville announced Thursday that the launch, as well as a 40-foot dock, were available for use on Moose Lake.

“Opening this boat access to Moose Lake was one of Council’s first priorities once the MD took ownership of Vezeau Beach in March,” says Reeve Greg Sawchuk. “The MD has put in this temporary launch and dock while we wait for approval from Alberta Environment to proceed with the permanent structure.”

New curbs have been installed in the launch to help guide boaters easier into the lake. A sign will help direct new users into the water safely.
