Mounties in Lac La Biche are still investigating a weekend fire that claimed two lives in Plamondon. It happened early Saturday morning. The RCMP says officers and fire crews were called to a home in the hamlet 30 kilometres west of Lac La Biche.
An adult woman was airlifted to an Edmonton hospital where her family reports she was treated and later released. Sadly, a man and child were pronounced dead at the scene.
Mounties remain on scene with Office of the Fire Commissioner as they try to piece together what caused the blaze. No other homes were involved in the fire.
