Alberta Health Services says the Spring Blue-Green Algae outbreak at Minnie Lake is now contained. On Friday AHS lifted the algae advisory for the lake after testing showed bacterial levels in the water were now below maximum accepted guidelines.
The original advisory was issued on April 18th. As is standard, AHS reminds people to never drink or cook with untreated lake water any time.
