Elk Point Mounties have charged a man with multiple counts of possession of stolen property. Police say the charges stem from an incident on June 11th where they were tipped off about a U-Haul truck involved in property crime.
Police found the U-Haul later that day North of town and say they also came across the suspect stripping copper wire outside of it. A little searching by mounties also turned up stolen tools and drugs.
A 42-year-old man will now face his charges in St. Paul Provincial Court on June 27th.
