Mounties charge three with arson in St. Paul

Three men are facing charges of arson after a fire in St. Paul. Mounties say they were called to fire near 49th Street and 48th Avenue on June 7th. A vacant home was fully engulfed in flames by the time emergency services arrived.

Police say they found a blood trail leading them to a neighbouring garage and the three suspects.

24-year-old William Whiskeyjack, 38-year-old Ryan Cardinal and 30-year-old Mitchell Soosay now face charges of break and enter to commit arson.

Emergency crews were able to put the fire out before it spread to neighbouring homes.
