Bonnyville Regional Fire Fighters say the fire near Moose Lake is now under control. The BRFA sent a release out on Tuesday evening saying their team had contained the fire to the fire breaks after a windy afternoon and are now focusing on putting out hot spots throughout the night.
Firefighters called in from regions like La Corey and Iron River were sent home in the afternoon. BRFA Regional Fire Chief Jay Melvin asks residents to continue to stay away from the area, and stay off of Moose Lake to let fire crews continue their work.
