Bonnyville Pontiacs Head Coach Rick Swan will be representing the country on a massive hockey stage in August. The Pontiac bench boss has been chosen to lead a team made up of players from the Alberta Junior Hockey League that will compete in the 2019 Junior Club World Cup in Sochi, Russia.
Swan will join Camrose Kodiaks GM / Head Coach Boris Rybalka at the helm. The line-up of the AJHL team is expected to be announced later on in June.
Austria, Canada, Czech Republic, Finland, Russia, Sweden, Switzerland and the USA will compete for the championship August 23rd to the 31st.
