Alberta Parks says hot and dry weather has forced them to close Moose Lake Provincial Park. The park south of Highway 660 has been shut down to public access effective immediately citing “an extreme fire hazard”.
The campground and day use areas are now closed down as well.
A date for reopening has not been given as of yet. Residents can keep up to date with the status of the park by visiting the official Alberta Parks website.
