Mounties are saying a little digging into a home invasion near St. Paul over the long weekend has resulted in at least 5 arrests. The RCMP says they conducted two searches of some homes in Saddle Lake which turned up items police believe were stolen during the ordeal. Mounties say they think the invasion was targeted and not random.
35-year-old Cody Steinhauer of Saddle Lake, 38-year-old Janice Jackson of Vilna, 29-year-old Katherine Cardinal of St. Paul and 29-year-old Larson Kaskamin of Saddle Lake now face charges including assault with a weapon and forcible confinement.
One other man was arrested in connection, his name has not been released. Mounties say their investigation into the original incident continues.
