Cold Lake residents will be treated to a little fancy flying over the next 10 days. The Royal Canadian Air Force says their CF-18 demonstration jet is in the city and will be working on training starting Monday.
During the training, residents will probably notice the fast-moving fighter aircraft in the skies between 9 am and 9 pm. With the jet comes the noise and 4 Wing says there may be some of that at times.
The 2019 CF-18 Demonstration team’s theme is called “To the stars”. It will recognize the innovative and driven Canadians who have led the charge for change with the air force.
