Don’t panic, we’re training: RCAF

4 Wing says there was a reason for some up close and personal looks at Royal Canadian Air Force aircraft last week. Residents may have noticed a bit more traffic in the air May 8th and 9th. 4 Wing says joint urban close air support training was being conducted and did include some time over Cold Lake.

4 Wing Public Affairs say the training was carefully planned and closely controlled for public safety’s sake. The base says it apologizes if the training might have caused a disturbance.
