More time to hunt means more coyotes and wolves. That’s what the MD of Bonnyville is saying explains the jump in bounties paid out for this seasons coyote and wolf reduction program. Results were released April 24th at MD council. Just over 1100 coyotes and 25 wolves were brought in to the AG office.
MD residents were eligible for a bounty of $15 per coyote carcass and $75 per wolf. The program ran from October until March 31st. It used to get started on New Years Day.
