Cold Lake mounties are putting out a warning after bear sightings in the city. The RCMP says on April 23rd they received several calls about a bear near the Lions Park area. Black bears have also been spotted in Cold Lake South. Mounties say they have been moving the animals along with sirens and horns when they can.
In the meantime, the RCMP says to secure your trash cans and be aware of your surroundings. Anyone who wishes to report a bear can call Fish and Wildlife at 780-594-3302
