Mounties arrest two after armed robbery in St. Paul

Police in St. Paul are laying charges after a Good Friday robbery of a local convenience store. Police say on April 19th at 5:46 am they were called out to the 7-11 on 50th Avenue. A man had reportedly entered the store brandishing a gun and a knife while wearing a neck warmer over his face. He demanded money and threatened the clerk before eventually stealing cigarettes and lottery tickets and leaving.

Mounties began looking for suspects and eventually arrested a male youth in relation. His name cannot be released due to his age. He is facing charges including armed robbery and resisting arrest. An adult man has also been arrested in relation to the crime. His name has not been released and his charges are pending.
