On June 8th, 2015 at approximately 9:30 AM, the Bonnyville RCMP Detachment received a 911 call for service reporting that two males were fighting on the side of the road on Hwy 657. Further reports stated that one of the males was knocked down. Police attended however all parties had left. The police were later contacted by the victim, a 52 year old resident of St. Paul, who advised he was on route to the hospital.  Through investigation the police learned that the 52 year old male had accidentally cut off another truck driver, 49 year old male resident of Glendon, AB. The 49 year old was very upset and stopped to confront the 52 year old driver. While the 52 year old driver was attempting to apologize, he was knocked out by the 49 year old. The 49 year old was located and arrested and is now charged with Assault with a first appearance in court of July 28th, 2015.
