Frog Lake headed to the polls April 26th

Frog Lake is headed to the polls. The Frog Lake First Nation has called an election for April 26th. The community will be voting for a Chief as well as six Councillors. Voting will take place at the Frog Lake First Nations Band Hall from 9 AM to 8 PM.

Eligible Voters also have the opportunity to send in their vote by mail. The nation says to contact the Electoral Officer if a vote is coming in the mail. 12 candidates are in the running for Chief while 61 are in the running for Councillor positions.

The current chief of the Frog Lake First Nation is Clifford Stanley.
