The Fire Advisory for The Municipal District of Bonnyville has been lifted. Existing fire permits are reinstated and new permits will be issued. Burn Barrels with screens, fire pits, fireworks, and safe campfires are also permitted. The news comes after authorities announced the Cold Lake Air Weapons Range fire is held with 100 per cent completion of the fire guard. While Fire Fighters continue to extinguish ground fire, authorities have given the okay for oilfield operations to resume work.
