A man charged in connection to the death of a Bonnyville senior has been found guilty of second-degree murder. The verdict for Frank James Frenchman was announced in St. Paul Provincial Court on Saturday. Frenchman was facing the charges after the death of 83-year-old Alfred Wagner. Wagner was found dead in his Bonnyville home back in October of 2016.
Frenchman’s sister Arizona Chastity Frenchman was found guilty of manslaughter last November. She is currently serving a five-year sentence. Her release date is anticipated in 2021.
Frenchman will face sentencing back in St. Paul court on April 1st.
