RCMP in St. Paul have increase patrols of the downtown core. After concerns from business owners, residents, and town council, about crime in the downtown area of St. Paul were brought to the RCMP attention, the police decided to increase foot patrol of the “hot spot” areas.
These patrols have been very welcoming from the community and will continue for the foreseeable future in an effort to reduce crime; such as theft, loitering, and vandalism, as well as, increase a positive relationship between the public and the police force.
