Postcards will access park survey: MD of Bonnyville

The MD of Bonnyville says to check your mailbox in the next few days. Postcards are going out in the mail to both MD and Bonnyville residents to complete a survey on a potential new park in Bonnyville. The park will be located near Highway 28 and 611B across from the Vezeau Beach area.

On Monday the MD hosted an open house on the idea at Shaw House. MD council says they’re going to take the feedback from the open house as well as the surveys before they make a decision on what the park will look like and how much it will cost.

The park could contain ball diamonds, sports fields and even a new camping spot. The study on the idea is expected to be wrapped up later this Spring. A decision on the build isn’t expected until later in 2019.
