Elk Point mounties looking for names after attempted break-in

Elk Point police are looking for suspects after an attempted break-in by Laurier Lake. Police say they were called to a home on February 12th after a homeowner surprised two people attempting to bust into his house. The homeowner says the two would-be burglars ran off to a newer black Dodge truck and took off. Police believe one of the suspects was carrying a gun.

Police are releasing security pictures of one of the suspects. Mounties are asking anyone who may know anything on the crime to call the Elk Point detachment at 780-724-3964 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
