The MD of Bonnyville Shelterbelt Tree Program is back and now has an online option. The program, which sells discounted shelterbelt trees to residents, will now be available online through the MD website. The trees are sold in the hopes of reducing soil erosion, creating barriers from the wind for crops and other positives out in the country.
The online program will start up Wednesday at 8:30 am. If residents feel like doing things the old fashioned way, forms will also be available that can be dropped off at the MD Ag Shop. As in previous years, trees are sold on a first come, first served basis.
