Two arrested after Frog Lake home invasion

Elk Point mounties are saying two people have been arrested and charged after a home invasion in Frog Lake. The RCMP responded to the original call on February 16th. Police say several items were taken from the home during the incident.

Mounties say the next day they arrested two suspects in Fishing Lake in connection to the break-in. The RCMP says a search of a home in the community turned up stolen from the home as well as a vehicle they believe was used during the crime. A search warrant of another home connected to the suspects turned up other stolen items.

32-year-old Myles Lajimodiere of Fishing Lake and 26-year-old Nicole Crookedneck from Lloydminster now face charges including robbery with a firearm. Lajimodiere will stay with police while Crookedneck has since been released. Both are in St. Paul Provincial Court on Thursday.
