Guns thrown out window during chase: St. Paul RCMP

Police is St. Paul say four people now face charges after a chase in St. Paul County. Mounties say on February 13th they tried to pull over an SUV which took off away from the police. While the RCMP was in pursuit, police say some guns were thrown out of the vehicle.

Eventually the SUV came to a stop at a dead end driveway and four people were arrested without incident. Mounties say a search of the vehicle turned up ammunition as well as a prohibited firearm in a nearby ditch.

37-year-old Cameron Cardinal and 23-year-old Jeffery Saulteaux, both from Edmonton as well as 36-year-old Allison Parsons of Fort Saskatchewan and 19-year-old Brittany Omeasoo from Saddle Lake now face charges including flight from police and possession of a prohibited weapon. Cardinal is staying with police and will see St. Paul Provincial Court on February 21st. The other three have since been released on bail and are due in St. Paul court on February 28th.
