Money or love?

According to a new BMO survey, money trumps love when it comes to 2014 New Year’s resolutions.

The survey found 80 percent of Albertans made a resolution before the clock struck midnight on December 31st and more than one-third of all resolutions were related to personal financial issues.

BMO spokesperson Nini Krishnappa says the results are not surprising as personal finances impact so many different aspects of a person’s life.

2014 New Year resolutions related to personal finances rank second to health and fitness ahead of personal resolutions at 31 percent, love life at 19 percent and workplace at 17 percent.
