Funding is important to execute a great event, says Bohme, “we also look for support from the local municipalities.”

Bohme says this is the second time the Chamber has put a bid in to host The Ace Summit, “we were successful this time (with our bid).” It’s important for the Cold Lake Chamber to host a memorable events since there will be many Chamber representatives in Cold Lake for the three day event, “we look for somewhere where we can host everything; we need hotel rooms, banquet rooms, and catering.” These needs lead the Chamber to choose The Lakeland Inn as its host location.

Bohme says the Summit, is used for “professional  development,” and will host brain storming, networking, educational presentations, and idea sharing ventures from. “It’s  for Alberta Chamber Executives, so typically your managers, your executive directors, your CEOs of the Chambers,” says Bohme.
