Lac La Biche health clinic temporarily moved: AHS

Alberta Health Services says Community Health Services in Lac La Biche are temporarily displaced from their office in the Provincial Building. AHS officials say starting February 1st anyone seeking CHS will need to head down to the basement of the provincial building. That’s because the ceilings in their office are currently being worked on.

AHS figures the work will be done by February 28th. In the meantime, CHS will operate out of the addictions and mental health offices. The clinic hours will stay the same, being open Monday through Friday from 8 am to 4:30 pm.

Other Alberta Health Services programs based out of the Provincial Building include population and public health, community care, allied health and environmental public health.
