Missing a car battery? It might be in Elk Point

Elk Point mounties are trying to hunt down the owners of about 12 car batteries. The RCMP says they were told on January 22nd that the batteries were lying in a ditch just west of town. They’ve since been brought to the Elk Point police station.

Anyone who may own them or know who owns them is asked to give the Elk Point RCMP a call at 780-724-3964. Police say they are still looking into how the batteries were swiped in the first place.
