Mounties say murder suspect caught after 1 year search

Mounties in Two Hills say a man wanted for over a year in regards to a Lac La Biche murder has been arrested. The RCMP says 23-year-old Lloyd Wesley Boudreau was taken into custody on January 20th at a home in Two Hills. Boudreau had been wanted since October of 2017 in connection to the death of 26-year-old Michael Matthew Mountain. Police say he was arrested without incident.

Mounties say they also arrested 26-year-old Mandi Leigh Boucher at the home. Boucher was reported missing and was thought to be with Boudreau while he was on the run. She has been charged as an accessory to murder.

The RCMP says both will stay in police custody and make their first appearance in St. Paul Provincial Court on January 24th.
