St. Paul mounties say a stolen truck, trailer and snowmobiles were among the things recovered after an incident near Saddle Lake. The RCMP says on January 15th they spotted the truck and trailer unit while it was trying to return to the settlement. Mounties pulled the vehicle over and arrested three men without incident. A fourth led police on a brief foot chase but was later caught.
Three Saddle Lake men now face charges including four counts of possession of property obtained by a crime. A 14-year-old boy from Saddle Lake was also arrested and faces similar charges. All have since been released and will see both St. Paul and Bonnyville courtrooms at the end of January and beginning of February.
Mounties say the property was taken out of Vermilion.
