Tips lead to catching suspected robber : Cold Lake RCMP

The Cold Lake RCMP says it only took about two days to catch a suspect in three robberies in the city. Mounties say tips from the public led them to arrest 20 year-old Pablo Morales on January 14th. A search warrant for the man’s home later turned up what police believed to be items used during the robberies.

“We appreciate all the public tips we received on this investigation,” says Corporal Marie-Eve Mackenzie-Plante, Cold Lake General Investigative Section. “The tips we received from the photos we provided were crucial in quickly arresting and bringing the suspect before the courts.”

Morales now faces charges including three counts of robbery with a firearm. He’ll stay in police custody and see Cold Lake Provincial Court on January 23rd.
