Cold Lake cops say robber hit three stores

Mounties in Cold Lake are looking for help identifying a suspect they think had a hand in three different robberies. Police say on January 12th they responded to robberies at Esso locations in the north and south of the city as well as the Red Rooster. The RCMP says a man entered each store with a covered face and what mounties believe was a gun. Each time the suspect made a getaway in a small car. Nobody was hurt during each robbery.

The man is described as standing around five-foot-eight inches tall with dark coloured hair. He’s believed to be between 20 and 25-years-old and was wearing a black sweater with a “White Element” logo on it, green baseball hat, black pants and dark coloured shoes.

Mounties are asking anyone with info on the suspect to call the Cold Lake detachment at 780-594-3302 or through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
