Award gala celebrating Lakeland women back for 2019

A popular celebration of women in the Lakeland is readying for their 2019 awards ceremony. The 2019 Women of Influence Cold Lake gala will hit the Energy Centre stage March 8th. Among the keynote speakers this year is Captain Marla Harling. Harling currently serves as an Aerospace Engineer at 4 Wing as well as sitting as co-chair of the 4 Wing Defence Woman’s Advisory Organization. She’s joined by accident-survivor Nadine Friesen and professional photographer Susie O’Connor.

Nominations are also being accepted for awards. Awards ranging from Arts to Business and Younger and Older Women categories will be up for grabs. The closing day for nominations is January 18th.
