Elk Point mounties after copper wire

Mounties in Elk Point are looking for help tracking down stolen copper wire. Police say some 440-volt wire went missing from a crushing site about a kilometre west of town on Highway 646. The owners figure the theft happened between December 12th and 27th.

Police say they’ve started investigating. They’re looking for anyone who may know more details to call them at 780-724-3964. Tips can also be submitted anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.
