Saddle Lake pair caught in Edson

Police are saying a pair of wanted Saddle Lake men made it to Edson before being caught. Mounties say on December 21st 45-year-old Byron Hunter and 46-year-old Tyson Hunter were nabbed just outside the town of Edson, about 350 kilometres west of Saddle Lake.

The pair were found to be hiding out in Edmonton before taking off from police. Their truck was stopped by a spike strip and the two were quickly taken into custody without incident. Both men were wanted by Lakeland mounties in connection to stolen ATMs.

Both men are going to stay in police custody and make their first appearances in Bonnyville Provincial Court on January 3rd.
