Mounties working on 28-year-old’s death in Frog Lake

The RCMP says they are still putting the pieces together on the death of a man in Frog Lake over the Christmas break. Mounties say on December 22nd they were called to a home where they found an unresponsive 28-year-old man. He was later declared dead at the scene by Emergency Medical Services.

The RCMP Major Crimes Unit as well as mounties from St. Paul and Bonnyville remained on scene and did some digging into the case. Police say 25-year-old Darren Moocheweines has since been arrested and charged with second-degree murder in relation to the mans’ death. Mounties aren’t looking for any additional suspects.

An autopsy was conducted in Edmonton on December 22nd. The results have yet to be released.
